I am eagerly anticipating looking over all the biography projects and having the students begin their presentations (only a few at a time). I am thinking about making a set time for parents to come in a look through all the different projects as well---more info to follow on that later.
This week will be another jam-packed week as we are celebrating Pastor Appreciation Day tomorrow with an afternoon assembly, Thursday some students (myself included) will go to Bayview for the Performing Arts Presentation, and Friday is the Grandparents Day mass followed by early dismissal.
Due to the 1/2 day on Friday, we will be having our spelling test a day early, but I think with the list of words, the students will be more than prepared by Thursday afternoon.
Since we were not able to squeeze our Science test in before vacation, we will aim for our Ch. 12 Test on Wed. In Math we continue with division and I am pleased to report that based on the grades I entered to Engrade, I would say that the students have been studying their multiplication and division facts and are progressing nicely!
We are set to start a new chapter in S.S. and we will be placing more focus on geography in addition to our lessons.
Towards the end of the week I hope to get some papers passed out so we can start working on our own autobiographies so stay tuned!
